Volunteer BC Announces Incoming President Cari Moore, Recognizing the Service of Anne-Marie Koeppen

Volunteer BC warmly welcomes Cari Moore as she steps into this leadership role, bringing her passion for volunteerism and community engagement. A heartfelt thank you goes to Anne Marie Koeppen for her dedicated leadership and numerous contributions as President.
Cari Moore brings extensive experience in volunteer management and community engagement. Previously serving as Vice President of Volunteer BC, she now steps into the President role.

Cari is the Director of Volunteer Fraser Valley, where she connects volunteers with opportunities across the region, and she also serves as Programs and Volunteer Coordinator at the Chilliwack and District Seniors Resources Society. With a passion for volunteer management, she shares her expertise with local non-profits through training and workshops. Beyond her professional roles, Cari has been an active member of Soroptimist International of Chilliwack and has been the President of the Club 3 different times.
Volunteer BC extends its heartfelt gratitude to Anne Marie Koeppen for her exceptional leadership, dedication, and numerous contributions throughout her presidency. During her term, Anne-Marie championed initiatives to strengthen volunteer programs, supported non-profits across British Columbia, and fostered meaningful connections within the volunteer community. Her commitment to promoting volunteerism and empowering organizations has left a lasting and meaningful impact, setting a strong foundation for continued growth and success.
As a Provincial Organization, we look forward to Cari’s thoughtful leadership style as we continue to move Volunteer BC Forward. Cari shared some kind words about Anne Marie “I would like to thank Anne Marie for all the hard work and countless hours she put in during her term as President. I am so thankful she is staying on the executive to help with transitioning me into my new role as President. Her knowledge and understanding of the Volunteer sector is something our organization is lucky to have. I have big shoes to fill! I am looking forward to leading the board and working alongside our amazing staff, as we continue to be the voice of volunteerism in British Columbia.”
