About the Event
What is the BC Ombudsperson?
The BC Ombudsperson helps make sure people are treated fairly by public services in British Columbia. That includes services like government-run housing programs, income assistance, public hospitals, and government ministries. If you think a public organization didn’t treat you fairly, you can contact us. We will listen to your concerns, look into what happened, and may be able to help fix the problem or suggest changes to improve services. We don’t report to the government. Our job is to be fair, independent, and help public services work better for everyone.
This presentation is an opportunity to learn about the work of the BC Ombudsperson. The presentation will cover:
What is the BC Ombudsperson and what do they do?
