About the Event

Session Details:

Difficult conversations are unavoidable in leadership, especially in nonprofit spaces where relationships are personal, passions run deep, and resources are often stretched. Whether you're addressing performance issues, volunteer boundaries, or internal conflict, how you show up in those moments can either build trust or break it.

This session will equip nonprofit leaders and volunteers with practical strategies to prepare for and navigate hard conversations with clarity, compassion, and emotional intelligence. We’ll explore what it means to shift from reactive confrontation to proactive, behaviour-shifting dialogue. Through real-world examples, reflective exercises, and communication frameworks, participants will walk away ready to lead conversations that de-escalate tension, preserve dignity, and drive lasting change.

This session isn’t about softening your message. It’s about strengthening your delivery so it actually lands and leads to action.
