Every month, we brought members an information-rich newsletter, The Connector, disseminating new tools and resources, funding opportunities, training and learning events, publications, new research on volunteering, and international news related to volunteerism.

From TV, newspapers, online blogs and Twitter, Volunteer BC has been gaining more profile and presence in the media. A total of 12 articles were written about or referencing our organization. The highlight of this media coverage was Charity Village’s announcement of their top 10 stories for 2010 which included our story on the Legacy of Volunteering After the 2010 Olympics, highlighting our keynote conference speaker, Dr. Tracey Dickson, listed as the #3 story of the year.
